The summer is magic è un brano dance del 1993 cantato dal gruppo dei Playahitty.
In pochissimo tempo questo singolo è diventato un vero tormentone ed ha scalato molte posizioni nelle classifiche di mezza Europa.
Anche l’omonimo album ha avuto un successo di vendita davvero oltre le aspettative, negli anni a sono state fatte molte versioni remix di questo brano.
