Scatman è il primo singolo di Paul John Larkin meglio noto come Scatman John.
Il brano
La canzone Scatman è stata concepitao nel 1994 con l’ausilio del cantante Markus Pe, pubblicata dapprima in Germania nello stesso anno, questo singolo fa il boom nel 1995.
Il brano non è stato un successo immediato in tutti i paesi ma con il passare del tempo è riuscito ha scalare le vette di tutte le classifiche mondiali.
Per l’artista inizia un periodo molto florido per la sua carriera artistica, i suoi album vendono qualcosa come 52 milioni di copie. Innumerevoli dopo questo brano sono stati anche gli altri singoli usciti tra i quali ricordiamo Scatman World.
Con questo brano John Scatman ha partecipato al Festivalbar del 1995, e lo stesso singolo è stato usato come colonna sonora in diversi film.
Sicuramente chi ha vissuto la dance degli anni 90 non può non ricordare il mitico vecchietto che con le sue canzoni ha fatto storia in quel decennio.
